Chrome Remote Desktop - 100% CPU Usage When access enabled.

I am using Ubuntu Mate Release 16.04.1 LTS (Xenial Xerus) 64-bit
I have another Computer that doesn’t have the problem. If I don’t disable the connection the computer crashes.
gvfsd-smb-browse and mate-menu.py start using increasing amounts of CPU usage. Memory starts being depleted and it crashes.

The gvfsd-smb-browse bug has been a thorn in my side since 16.04 first came out. This is a Linux wide bug, by the way. However, I have just downloaded the very latest UM 16.04 from the website and it appears to have been fixed. For some reason, beyond me, the fix is not being sent down the line as updates to already installed systems. So, my guess is you will have to do what I have done and re-install. At which point, Samba is working and the bug has gone.
