I have an issue with downloading software

At the welcome screen, when i want to download software it says “Package does not exist”. Every single spp that i tried to download does this. Help!

If you were wondering this is what it says if i am downloading chromium:

Package does not exist.
Check the spelling of the package name, and that the appropriate repository is enabled.

Details:
Package chromium-browser isn’t avaible

Hi @pixelstar04,

what version of UM are you using?.

Have you tried changing your software sources download location?:

That’s due to having incomplete package lists.

If you’re using the 16.04 version, you can click “Update Source Lists” button in the Fixes section of the Software Boutique.

Otherwise, run this command in the terminal:

sudo apt-get update

Updating source Lists saved my day. Thanks alot.
