Language settings in 16.04

Hello all,

I just started with this version, before I used 15.10. Now I installed the language support for german, I switched keyboard and other settings to german. But I doent have any result, all stay english. i.e. Firefox the german language support was installed but menu and all messages, the settings dialog and so on still are English. Someone out there to give some help with that? I can run the system in English language, but it would be easear in German,

Hi, to completely change your system language from one to another; go to Control Center > Personal > "Language Support" then click on Install/Remove languages, make sure that the only language in the list is the one you want, example: English. Take the tick out of any unwanted languages and leave only one tick in English!!. This is my own guide using German as my example. thank you for this help. I had success. Had not expected this action to bring the solution, as the line Deutsch below the 2 English ones was greyed out, while the 22 above were black.
