I am trying to install Openshot from software boutique and am getting the following error
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
openshot-qt: Depends: python3-openshot but it is not going to be installed
Depends: python3:any (>= 3.3.2-2~) but it is a virtual package
apologies I am running MATE Desktop Environment 1.12.1 on a RP3

try changing your software sources download location and installing it again after doing a package sources refresh:

Sadly changing the software sources location did not work…

This line says that python 3 must be equal or greate then 3.3.2 . So wath version of python3 have you installed ?
Wolfman, apologies… I tried using the synaptic source again and it woked successfully. Thank you for your advice.
