Raspberry pi 2 - Emergency mode

Hello here is my problem:
Every time i start my Raspberry Pi 2 using Ubuntu Mate i get into the Emergency mode. I don`t have another computer running Ubuntu or Linux. Does somebody know what t do?

Thanks for your help.

I don’t think its necessary to have linux installed on another computer. You can boot up the Live DVD on another computer and have a linux system thats good for one session.

I did get some forum hits:

Getting emergency mode screen on boot up every time

Skip / Disable / Block / Delete - Emergency Mode

How to skip emergency mode?

And found a closed bug report:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mate/+bug/1512248

I do not own a Pi so my help is limited. Good luck

Sorry i forgot to say that i cant write my sd card, because its write protected.
I don`t know how i can remove this protection.

Do you know how to remove the write protection? Otherwise I have to buy a new SD Card. :frowning:

As far as I know, there is no hardware switch on the micro SD card to protect it.
You seem to have a card which is either fake or failed.
Good luck

In the past it worked, so i think it`s failed.
