Hi again. Thank you for your help.
I have updated everything according to what is suggested in the link you gave to me, including the drivers and have also installed all the synaptics packs.
I have been analyzing this problem and it seems like the touchpad driver gets deactivated, but the system is not realizing about that and when I open the system > preferences > hardware > mouse, touchpad appears as if it was enabled.
I’ve also tried it with the sudo nano /etc/default/grub, and changing the line with quiet splash with
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=“quiet splash i8042.kbdreset=1”
Have also tried this procedure with :
i8042.nomux=1
psmouse.resolution=1200
psmouse.resetafter=1
psmouse.rate=50
psmouse.smartscroll=1
mousedev.xres=1900
mousedev.yres=800
None of this commands has worked
According to what i have found on the web, I have been able to see the name of the hardware of my laptop, which is the next one:
mauricio@mauricio-E402NA:~$ xinput list
⎡ Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)]

¿What should I do now?
