Upgrade from 15.10 to 16.04 Beta

Apologies as I dear say this has been asked before but I can’t find it from searching.

I’ve tried UM 16.04 Beta running live from USB but decided to contain myself until the final version is released. However reading a thread on here the other day saying that you can upgrade to the final version from Beta without a fresh install, I want to be using it now.

So can I upgrade from 15.10 to 16.04 Beta in a similar manner?

It goes without saying, however, that you should definitely back up all of your personal files before attempting the above

I upgrade all my computers, not already running 16.04, from 15.10 to 16.04 last week :grinning:
