About performance instead of bling-bling.
I use Adaptive Marco instead of Compiz or Marco Compton, because I noticed a huge performance difference according to the new GPU test of Hardinfo.
Adaptive Marco = 17,254 HiMarks equal to no-compositor
Marco Compton = 6,899 HiMarks almost equal <5% to Compiz.
I did not measure it, but I also noticed an improvement of CPU load for YouTube 480p videos of approx. 10%-20%.
