I’m not certain my upgrade issues this morning are related to yesterday’s Internet DDoS attacks. Here’s the sequence:
- first boot displayed Software Updater which I allowed
- error reported to the effect could not complete
- manually ran apt update & upgrade
- checked log files and discovered the following repeating endlessly at least 15 minutes each time with a different device number
pfeiffep-Studio-1749 kernel: [ 134.876107] usb 1-1.4: new high-speed USB device number 20 using ehci-pci - restarted with advanced options choosing repair packages
- resolved the symptoms
