16.04.3 PC boots into emergency mode

Pretty much every time I boot, I only get to Emergency Mode Press Ctrl D to continue.

I tried recovery mode and repair broken packages.

Thanks.

Can you tell us more? Like what version of Ubuntu mate?! If it’s for PC or raspberry py etc?!?!?

I found the problem.

I wanted to speed up my boot up time.

I followed the recommendations here.

According to article, apt-daily-service is not supposed to start on boot up.

Once I undid the changes, I have had no problems with my boot ups. :slight_smile:
