I have taken upon myself to install Steam from the software boutique and my experience didn’t up well.
That is: whenever I am issuing ~/.steam/steam.sh nothing happens in MATE yet the PID is up:
dls 3147 2324 0 Oct25 ? 00:00:00 /bin/sh /usr/games/steam
dls 3150 3147 0 Oct25 ? 00:00:00 bash /home/dls/.steam/steam.sh
dls 3236 3150 0 Oct25 ? 00:00:00 /home/dls/.steam/ubuntu12_32/steam
Has anyone managed to get Steam going on latest, fully patched, build?
