I’m testing Ubuntu MATE 17.10 Beta 2 at the moment with the contemporary layout. I’d like to disable the global menu though, which I’m doing by removing the applet from the panel. However, all applications are still missing their menus. Is there an extra switch that has to be toggled to bring back the application menus? Any help is appreciated.
