18.04 scrambels Deluge, still!

I tried Mate18.04 in its Beta2 phase and again now with its 18.04 LTS, both times Deluge loaded OK and I seeded about 16 items OK. But when I closed down and restarted [after backing up with Clonezilla-live 2.5.2-31], Deluge gave an ‘eror’ for every item. This usually clears with ‘force re-check’, but at that point it would only try and download.
With 18.04 Beta 2 i was using Numix and with 18.04 LTS Numix and Mutiny.
Help. Reluctantly I’m back to Mate 17.10

I recommend using qbittorrent. It works perfectly on Ubuntu and is in the repos

Thanks. Will try it when I get 18.04LTS to work. Reloaded from scratch this
am but now nothing works. Will download a new 18.04 next week via torrent.
Got a backup of the latest !!! if anyone wants to analyse the []problem.
