20.04 does not recognize WiFi hardware

When I try to install Ubuntu MATE 20.04, there is no WiFi connection. Versions 14.04 through 19.10 had no trouble with my WiFi hardware. I believe that the 20.04 version is broken or missing.

Hi rpearsonii,

try switching the WIFI off and on and see if you have the indicator light showing. I assume it is a laptop?.

The make and model of your PC and wifi card would also be helpful too.

Yes, some more details will help.

I'm using 20.04 on a laptop with wireless WiFi without issues - 20.04 is not broken or missing.

@rpearsonii, please post the output of inxi -n

You may need to install inxi first, sudo apt install inxi

Good luck.
