Just wanted to give some positive feedback - 20.04 MATE works great on a Purism Librem 15 laptop. I had tried Xubuntu 19.10, but the fonts, icons, etc. were difficult to scale correctly.
Looks beautiful with MATE.
Also, I haven't bumped into the typical "paper cuts" that I often have had with previous MATE versions.
