[22.04] How to remove dock-panel? (ubuntu-dock or plank perhaps?)

I thought this would be easy to answer but for 22.04 I was not able to find my answer.

First and foremost: I am unsure of the name of the package that I am looking for but I believe it used to be known as ubuntu-dock. It's actually this bar that is hidden and only displays when one brings the cursor over the top portion of the status bar at the bottom.

According to my researches this once could be disabled via dconf-editor somewhere under org / gnome / shell but this doesn't exist in jammy.

I am also running the familiar panel layout model if that helps.

For me this hidden bar is a total waste of resource as I put all of my shortcuts at the very top bar. But really, who needs shortcuts when one simply pressed the META key and enters search criteria in?

Bottom line: what is the way to get rid of it?

Thanks in advance <3

EDIT: Could it be called plank and simply be disabled via Startup Applications Preferences -> Startup Programs and then uncheck Dock Reload maybe?
