24 hour Time in TBird

Hi guys, I’m asking here since I didn’t find an answer elsewhere (not even on Thunderbird wiki…)
I’m not a geek…far from that. I’m the typical ex-windoze recently converted… And quite happy now.
I’m using UM 17.04. Time is on a 24h standard throughout and all is fine.
BUT
I just can’t find a way to make the Thunderbird calendar to be the same… I’m having this confusing (for me) a.m./p.m. all American way that bugs me. Really.
Can someone here help me with that little stupid and easy thing that I haven’t figured out?
If so, thanks in advance, and then come up here, I’ll pay the beer…

Found an AskUbuntu question from almost 5 years ago… not sure if the solution will work for you but worth a shot.
