I figured, since some of you might be rocking Fedora in your workstations, I would throw my hat in here without signing up for anything else since I feel lazy af and want to express something about it.
So basically it boils down to this; they want the infinity logo but different, and the two candidates are basically a balanced lemniscate, or imbalanced lemniscate. I prefer the latter. Why?
Let’s just see the “Infinity” glyph in this website’s font face:
Most fonts will render an imbalanced lemniscate for the infinity symbol. So, conversely if they want to stick with their roots without excessively stylizing it for OCD sake, they could be more faithful to most lemniscates and have an asymmetrical infinity symbol.
