About snap and dependencies

Searching (after deleting snaps) to see some leftovers I found 4.
gir1.2-snapd-1
libsnapd-glib1
libsnappy1v5
libsnappy1v5:i386
the 2 first if you try to deleting must delete also
ubuntu-mate-core
ubuntu-mate-core-desktop
One of app part of snap was
gnome-software-plugin-flatrak
So flatpak gone too, without any dependence leftover

Hi @joe. Since I also remove snapd I checked and you're right - there they are. So I looked what packages depend on them.

I'd love to hear from a developer but my guess is these dependencies exist in case things need to communicate with apps in the snap world and nothing more. Pulseaudio comes to mind. Anyone?

there is a post on greek forum about Mint is prohibits snaps and posted that
