Add application search bar on the panel

I would like to add the application search bar on the top panel of mate, which always remains fixed on the panel, does anyone know a way? i usually use alt+f2 but i would prefer something fixed on the panel, i don't use the brisk menu but the standard menu.

No, AFAIK there is no way to do that.
The closest you can get is adding a button to the panel that activates the application search window.
