AppImage files will not open on a RaspberryPi 3 running 16.04.2

I have made the AppImage an executable but it will not open. I do not get any response, or errors.

What log file messages does it generate, if any?

I checked the logs, it does not appear any messages were generated

You don’t say what is packaged within the AppImage exe - it may not be anything that would run on a RPi
