Atril works fine with other pdf files, but with this specific file it's opened but when I try to select any text inside using mouse Atril carshes and closes.
This is the file causing the problem https://drive.google.com/file/d/136CW_fx9n-n88s7HB7q2P4BoL9vAPTAd/view?usp=sharing
NB : this file can opened and the text inside can be selected using other pdf viewers like Master pdf Editor and mupdf.
@Med_Medin I am seeing the same results on that file.
Getting a Segmentation fault (core dumped) in CLI
I opened this document, scrolled it, pressed Ctrl+A and so on.
But on my Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, 18.04 LTS, 19.04 and 19.10 atril
does not crash (at least on VirtualBox VM).
The file was produced from TeX, so I do not see any reason for crash.
@Med_Medin Could you please provide more details and/or report issue to launchpad with apport-bug atril
(or pressing corresponding button on apport window shown after crash).
I opened up a bug report as it did crash for me. @Med_Medin if you can add to that please do.
On a side note in 18.04 UM running atril 1.20.1 this prooblem does not occur.
Have replied too early, I see this problem on 19.10 on real Intel GPU hardware.
Atril on VM does not crash.
My oops id on Intel iGPU is https://errors.ubuntu.com/oops/0ffcbbe8-026b-11ea-b668-fa163e102db1 .
Like Norbert_X, I opened the document, scrolled it, etc. It did not crash on my Ubuntu MATE 16.04 LTS, UM 18.04 LTS nor on UM 19.10.
Oops! When selecting text inside this file using UM 19.10 Atril, I get a crash. Should have read this report more carefully.
