Ahoy there, just wondering if anyone knows the ins and outs of the Audible critical battery warning notification alarm which sounds at about 3% battery.
I'm trying to find out which component of Ubuntu Mate raises this and sounds the alarm for this specific function.
I'm not sure if its power-manager or the notifications applet or something else.
Does anyone know how this works

This is managed by the power management of the operating system, in our case org.mate.power-manager. It's true that with the GUI, it is not possible to adjust those thresholds. If you want to do so, you can edit values the power manager uses with dconf :
You can install it with :
sudo apt install dconf-editor
and search for percentage-critical or percentage-low
