Ubuntu Mate 16.04.3 LTS
I just recently noticed an audio issue. I left a game on pause for a long time. Came back to my computer and no audio worked. Running speak-test from terminal gave me an error that I did not jot down. Rebooted. All was well.
The issue happened again just now. So I removed pulseaudio and decide to just stick with alsa but then videos online had no sound. Reinstalled pulseaudio. The issue seems to be resolved but I am unable to get the hardware test speaker button to work. I hear then noise when I press the the left and right button but it does not say “Front Left” or “Front Right”
Any tips?
