Auto-launch Rapid Photo Downloader?

When I insert a card from my camera, Shotwell automatically launches. I would much rather have Rapid Photo Downloader come up! I know there’s got to be a way to change this, but I haven’t been able to find anything in ControlCenter that does it. Can somebody point me in the right direction?

You can set Rapid Photo Downloader as your prefered application for images.

System -> Preferences -> Personal -> Preferred Applications

I don’t see how that can be right. My preferred application for viewing images is already Eye of MATE, just like the in the example you showed. I don’t want to change that. I’m referring to the program that launches when I insert a camera card (SD card) into my system!

  2. Click File Management
  3. Select the Media tab
  4. Select your application for Photos

Oh sorry,

I misunderstood you question :open_mouth: although I adviced you to set Rapid Photo Downloader as your preferred application instead of Eye of Mate.
