Background does not cover entire screen

I’ve been personalizing my desktop and installed the Arc Theme from NoobsLab. I also twiddled with Compiz Manager, enabled and disabled the cube and went back to one of the original themes packaged with Mate (Blue Menta).

Only now I noticed that there is a space on the right side which the background does not cover.

Windows don’t even maximize over it.

Funny thing is my mouse can hover over it without any problems. (See screenshot.)

What’s curious is when I log in as a different user, different background and stuff covers the entire screen with out any problems.

Have an NVIDIA card (GeForce GTX 1050 Ti) using Nouveau display driver.

Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

I found it was just another panel!!!
