Since upgrading to 18.04, I cannot import new music files into Banshee. It gives me a file selector, I choose the folder or files to import, and then it locks up until I eventually have to force-quit it. Any ideas?
I recall this is being caused by one of the extensions (“Podcasts”, if I remember correctly).
Disabling the culprit should fix this.
Thanks, I didn’t even realize Banshee had “extensions”. I found those and disabled the Podcasts extension. Also… Moving the files into my library and then re-scanning the library worked too.
