Before, brightness was working perfectly with 18.04.2, but now after one month the brightness is reset to maximum after each reboot.
I don't know which package/kernel upgrade caused the problem, but I suspect some upgrades from jonathon mate 1.22 upgrades which I removed after not running perfectly.
I have acer extensa running Ubuntu Mate 18.04.2 - 64bits with 4.15.0-48 kernel.
