Installed 17.04, with regular menu bar Synaptic is there, when I install Brisk, no Synaptic, not searchable either? What’s odd is that this happens on 2 machines, while a third is fine, installed all the same way, clean not an upgrade, anybody else run into this?
I personally don’t use Ubuntu mate just like to help with the community but ran an install on a VM and the brisk menu was installed maybe a bad ISO? Just guessing
To clarify, Brisk installs, icons for all programs do not

Edit: nevermind I re-read your post and you have a different issue, this other one has icons that have no effect while you don’t have any icons.
