Caja "open parent location" opens rhythmbox

Hi,
I’m running 18.04 LTS x64. When I perform a search in Caja, right-click a file, click “Open parent location” it opens rthymbox instead of anther Caja windows. This used to work fine and I don’t know what I could have done to cause this issue.
I uninstalled Rthymbox, then Caja did as it should and opened the parent directory. Reinstalled Rthymbox and Caja again opens Rthymbox instead of the parent directory.
I tried reinstalling Caja, the problem remains.
After some googling I found a similar post where VLC is being opened and the solution was editing
~/.local/share/applications/mimeapps.list
but I don’t seem to have this file.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Control Center> Preferred Apps (down at the bottom in Personal)>third tab (System), File Manager should display “Caja”. If not, change it to Caja.
