Caja after latest update is running constantly. Starting an unnamed process which disappears with a new PID every 5-10 seconds. Using 10-20% of a 4 core cpu. When I kill caja it is restarted automatically but if I stop it everything is as it should be, but obviously I can not use caja. When it runs the hard disk is running all the time as well.
I assume it has something to do with atril-thumbnail as it is left as a zombie when I stop caja.
Had an issue similar I removed Atril and installed Okular seemed to fix mine
Same issue, Plus: When I kill caja it is restarted automatically.
Initial issue: Caja locks up when I hit the search magnifying glass.
I kill the process and it returns - but still locks up when I search (not otherwise).
As often as I kill it - it returns immediately.
Any other leads to resolve my issue; my search resulted in only this post.
