I want to use rtcwake to wake up my computer at a specified time.
I used sudo rtcwake -m disk -s 60.
When it woke up, I could not type in a terminal and had to do a reboot.

On my install, it is part of util-linux package. There are so many basic commands in that package, I wonder how you could operate without having it already?
Wikipedia says this about util-linux-ng “it is a fork that was reabsorbed into util-linux in 2011”
edit: I see you have edited your post from “where is this packaged” to “why doesn’t it work”. My answer only makes sense for the original question, so please disregard.
