Cannot scroll All the way up when using 'dpkg -l'

I go to list all packages using ‘dpkg -l’

I use shift and page up to scroll up, but I cannot scroll past a certain program.

I would like to be able to see all the programs.

use enter to scroll down

Hi @rbohling. In the first case I think you're running into the scroll limit of mate-terminal but it can be increased from default of 512. I usually run about 10000.

Your " | less" solution is good, too.

Here I prefer Scrollback - Unlimited as I have 4-32 Gb of RAM
