Hi! I have installed 18.04 next to W7 on my new T470 and I get an error message re package management. I cannot update or run apt-get update. It tells me that certain files cannot be accessed. Any thoughts?
Try with sudo apt-get update…
Thx. I played around until it worked. Your suggestion was one of those I used.
If it’s a fresh install, it’s possible security updates are checking / installing in the background.
Check Software & Updates and change “When there are security updates” to “Display immediately” (instead of “download & install automatically”)
