Chromium segfaults

Hi,

was anyone successful in getting the Chromium Browser running? Installed from the official Ubuntu repositories, but it immediately crashes with

Same problem with Chromium for me too. It’s been broken for quite some time (months) :frowning: Initially on 15.10, and now still an issue on 16.04 after upgrading - I really hoped the upgrade would resolve the issue… I’ve tried all of the offered solutions and the only thing that gets me a working browser is to remove the latest version and drop back to version 48. Less than ideal.

I’m happy to provide diagnostic information if someone can give me some guidance on what to do…
