Are there any plans to get this issue fixed in the near future? It makes closing maximised windows a little fiddly. While it was resolved in 1910, it's definitely back in 2004.

Okay hopefully this should help : Imgur: The magic of the Internet
Screenshots didn't show mouse activity.
From screencast I see that the theme is not default (not pre-installed).
What is its name? From where did you download it?
Thanks for your time. The theme is Qogir-Dark downloaded from the link in the themes UI in Ubuntu Mate ; https://mate-desktop.org/themes/
I've tried multiple themes (including the pre-installed ones) and they all have the same issue of the controls not allowing a maximised window to be closed by dragging the mouse to the top right corner of the screen and clicking.
