Could someone explain this update

Hi all,

I have recently been finding that my terminal updates include this:

Unpacking oem-audio-hda-daily-dkms

i can see that its daily but i wonder if its necessary to install a daily package like this or if there is a more stable version of said pacakage?

ps i’m not sure how to correctly type terminal outputs on forum posts so if anyone can help with that too then it would be great

Hi Matt

I do not use this package, but did find this.

This means that you do not add a ppa: instead you download the package once and install it, confirm that it fixes your problem, and you're done.
