Delay option for startup applications

I think it would be an interesting addition to have on the Startup Applications dialog box, to allow us to set a delay in seconds for an entry. This would alleviate the need to create startup scripts for certain applications that must require that delay.

If by any chance we need to control the startup order of some applications or scripts, or are otherwise required to delay their execution during startup, a delay field in the Startup Applications dialog box would make for an excellent centralized setting that we could manage with more ease than opening the individual launch scripts and checking their sleep values.

Or wake the dev up and get it added to the program

Conky has it built in.

There’s a lot of ways to crack this nut. I’ve homed in on one script so all my startup apps are in one place, complete with order and timing of course.

Actually, it was a response to this old bug inherited from Gnome2:

Just a month ago I found it was fixed somewhere along the way.

Hmm… you have a point there
I didn’t consider, but should have, this could be outside the scope of Ubuntu-MATE developers.
