Hi,

first of all I want to say thank you to all developers who put there hard work into this beautiful distribution. Also it is very important to mention the professional look and feel of the website and the small details in Ubuntu Mate, which made me choosing it full-time.

Maybe we can collect some design issues here, I’ve found a few:

  • The scrollbars are very hard to see (grey on light grey). Thats especially the case in Firefox.

  • The Galculator icon looks out of place.

  • The networking connection (I’m on LAN) needs up to 10 seconds to get connection after my laptop is waking up from suspend.

  • Moving files by dragging them to a folder of the side area of caja (where all the folders and the trash is) should display this folder on the main area, that I can move files through different folders without copy/paste all the time. Thats a feature Nautilus has, that I really miss in Ubuntu Mate.

About your caja suggestion, you should head over and create a new issue on github (mention that it’s a feature request)

This is a known issue. You could try:

sudo systemctl restart NetworkManager

The first two theme issue I have am SRU filed for 16.04. They should be fixed for 16.04.1.

Thanks a lot for all your replies. If I have time I will take a look at github, I already have reported bugs on launchpad, but that seems a little different. Really hoping they improve the network manager. @Wimpy: glad to hear that!
