Hi All. I have a shortcut to a folder on my desktop and it will stay in the place I put it after a re-starting. The major Desktop Icon stays put (i.e. Computer, Network, Trash, and User folder). I do not have the "Keep Aligned" option checked. I am a little bit obsessive and would like to solve this issue
when you say " it will stay in the place I put it after a re-starting. " do you mean it will NOT stay in place?
What version of Ubuntu MATE are you running?
Can you give us before and after screen shots?
