My Mate 18.04 desktop is stuck in "zoom." Everything is large sized, the desktop, windows, programs, everything. Display resolution still shows 1920x1080. Any thoughts?
Sounds like you have HiDPI enabled. Try running this from a terminal:
gsettings set org.mate.interface window-scaling-factor 1
