So I've got MATE 20.04 LTS installed on an old MacBook Air, model A1304. The first thing it always does on startup is display this error that seems to basically say that it can't use MokListRT, and that it's continuing to boot, anyway, since Secure Boot is disabled.
Is there a way to turn these messages off? I don't see much need for them.
Alright, backed up both of those files, just in case.
That got rid of the message, replacing it with a simple line (cursor? I think?). Less annoying and scary-looking. XD
I think the boot process miiiight be a little bit slower? (Though the boot process was having problems, anyway - I think I'll try addressing that next.) Once the first part of booting is finished, though, I think my MBAir is actually running faster. So I think it's an improvement, overall. =3
I'll try seeing how my MBAir works for a few days, just to be sure. Thanks, though. =)
