Disable SNAP - Do'able?

I want to disable SNAP so windows don't automatically jump to side when resizing and moving them.

The Tips & Tricks and user guides mention SNAP, but not how to disable them.

Ubuntu Mate 20.##
TIA
~i~

sudo systemctl stop snapd.service
sudo systemctl disable snapd.service

I think the OP is referring to Window Snapping not snapd :grinning:

You can do this in MATE Tweak

Uncheck "Enable window snapping"
