Disable SNAP - Do'able?

I want to disable SNAP so windows don't automatically jump to side when resizing and moving them.

The Tips & Tricks and user guides mention SNAP, but not how to disable them.

Ubuntu Mate 20.##

sudo systemctl stop snapd.service
sudo systemctl disable snapd.service

I think the OP is referring to Window Snapping not snapd :grinning:

You can do this in MATE Tweak

Uncheck "Enable window snapping"

@franksmcb oh, I misunderstood. Thanks.

[Offtopic] snaps packets was reason leave ubuntu and try mint where are forbiten ,but they had made a manual how to install from snaps, now on manjaro the same .Snaps are part of linux! [/offtopic]
