UM 16.04 64 bit

Hello All, I can not get my New Epson V-19 to work. Mate sees it but, I get a message that I need drivers from Epson. I tried to follow the directions of the install from the console --Nope!

I tried downloading the 64 bit .deb drivers, and get the message (see photo)

There is 2 choices RPM or DEB. Nope!

Should I give up on Epson as I did on Canon?

From the extension, it looks like the downloaded .deb is packed in a compressed tar archive.

Try “tar -xzf iscan-bundle-1.0.0.x64.deb.tar.gz” on the downloaded file.

You should then have a .deb which can be installed
