I'm attempting to download font managers from Synaptic. Unfortunately, I have encountered an error message box during the process; see the image here:
I have never encountered this before when I had successfully downloaded and removed a previous font manager months ago. I'm using MATE 17.10; thanks for your input.
Addendum: On June 8th of this month, I received an error box after I had turned on my laptop and the OS had booted. See that image in an accompanying post. Could this be a reason why the font manager software did not install?
