so google has maybe changed it’s authentication i can still get mail i just can’t send mail, it tells me after hello tls hand shake an unexpected tls packet was revived , i’m thinking i’m going to have to upgrade evolution and on there page it is talking about flatpak
can that work on un mate 16.04
google smtp server settings … if that helps.
SMTP Server : smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Username: Your gmail email address, for example [email protected]
SMTP Password: Your gmail password.
SMTP Port: 587
TLS/SSL: Required.i have that correct, evolution i think just needs newer version. i’v used evolution in 10.04 then when um 16.04 came along i used evolution since then in 16.04 . evolution 3.18.5.2 is my current version
