Failed to obtain handles for "Service Changed" characteristic in Bluetooth unable to pair devices

I somehow got my bluetooth working in ubuntu-mate-16.10, the device pairing is not working. It even displays the pin code. Can’t possible get it to working.

Here the command output for the bluetooth status:
