As a newbie back when 17.04 was in Alpha, I patiently waited for 17.04. Finally, It came out and I downloaded and installed it on my Dell E6400 ATG Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 4GB ram. I ran it for about 2 months before I noticed Start up and shut down was taking forever. Windows started a lot faster than 16.10 and 17.04. So, I started looking into other distro’s to try. I finally settled on Linux Mint XFCE and Manjaro XFCE. Now, all this big talk about the new 17.10, Im excited to try it out. Hopefully, It runs better (start up and Shut down) than 17.04. Im running linux Mint KDE right now but waiting till new Ubuntu 17.10 is in final release…Just my thoughts…
