Firefox 58 starts very slowly (17.10)

I can’t tell if this is a problem with Firefox alone, or Firefox 58 on UM, or neither and I did something wrong. I only noticed that Firefox was taking a long time (1+ minutes) to load the home page after the UM Start Page was implemented.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

For posterity, the add-on which appears to have been the cause of the problem is Translate Man.
