So I plan on forking the Papirus icon theme. My main goal is to make it’s folders to match the Ambient-MATE theme. By default everything in Papirus is blue, also Papirus has a much larger selection of icons in it for apps and indicators. Not a big change really. But it would provide me with what I would like and an alternative for others. Maybe even get into 18.04…lol.
So my main question is what is the etiquette on these things. Do I need to discuss it with the Papirus folks, or just go ahead and do it? This is a new to me, never did such a project.
Any input would be great.
